Sunbathing
I went looking for migrants on the Lizard yesterday afternoon. A few bits and pieces: 3 spotted flycatchers, the odd whinchat making the most of the sheltered, warm pockets. The birds weren't the only animals taking advantage of the warm afternoon sunshine though.
What a contrast with today. Howling gales and driving rain, but still quite a few migrants around. A Pied Flycatcher and Windmill Farm was probably the highlight though.
